Using this Estee Lauder Clear Difference Advanced Oil Control Hydrator is simple: Apply to face AM and PM after cleansing and after applying your anti-aging/repair formula as desired. After first letting a thin coating of their Estee Lauder Idealist soak into my skin for a few minutes, I then apply this oil free moisturizer all over my face, excluding the eye area.
This water based formula soaks into my skin almost instantly as it creates a refreshing feeling on my face. A matte finish and not a shiny one is left behind so one could easily go without make-up and keep the skin hydrated yet not looking like a grease pit all day long. But I prefer wearing mine under foundation as it allows my make-up to easily blend onto my face while giving it something to “stick” to and then stay there without melting off.
And I only use it once daily instead of twice as I use something called Differin gel at night, which is a prescription product I get from my dermatologist that has done wonders for my oily skin. I rarely break out anymore, and now this new moisturizer helps to keep my face looking and feeling it’s best.
