Fidji Perfume by Guy Laroche. Launched by the design house of Guy Laroche in 1966, FIDJI by Guy Laroche For WOMEN is classified as a flowery fragrance. This feminine scent posesses a blend of: hyacinth, lemon, bergamot, carnation, jasmine, and rose. It is recommended for daytime wear.
Fidji was created in 1966 and was an interpretation of L’ Air du Temps. It is classed as a floral or floral green perfume. The family classification of a perfume is determined by what is called the middle notes of the perfume, the fragrance which develops after about 20 minutes after application.

All perfumes have three different effects or tiers of scents which play upon the senses in the same way that a beautiful melody touches one’s heart.

The top notes are ephemeral fragrances which sharply awaken the senses and prepare them for the journey they are about to take but which drift away after only a few minutes. This is why you should never choose a perfume based on the first impact of the fragrance for the true depth needs time to develop and interact with your body.

Fidji’s top notes include the fresh and stimulating citrus fragrances of lemon and bergamot combined with green notes of galbanum and hyathinth. The green notes are designed to evoke a sense of dewy green leaves, grass, and leafy forests.

The middle notes are the heartbeat of the perfume and Fidji contains a bouquet of delicious floral scents which includes carnation, orange blossom, ylang ylang, jasmine and rose. Lighter scents gradually give way to the headier narcotic fragrances and the overall effect of the middle notes is that of a warm summery exotic tropical paradise where you can linger for an hour or so.

The final stage in Fidji’s magical symphony is provided by the pulsating, sensual base notes which include vetiver, musk, oakmoss and sandalwood. The heavier spicier notes linger on for several hours and lead towards a balmy night.
