It wasn’t a candy bar that mesmerized Frauke Liers and Hoiming Wong as they stood in front of a vending machine at Logan International Airport’s Terminal E.
The Massachusetts Port Authority, which runs Boston’s airport, in December brought to the international terminal two ZoomSystems vending machines that offer a total of 64 consumer electronics products, ranging from the $34.99 Sony PlayStation Portable video game Grand Theft Auto to a $379.99 Garmin Nuvi 200 GPS navigation device. The airport plans to add machines to Terminals A and C by the end of the summer.
