The imports of cosmetic concentrates exceeded to 35 percent while the industrial imports rose by around 45 percent during January-April 2008 against the same period in 2007, importers and traders said Tuesday.

“Because soap and detergents makers continued launching new household products, while a number of domestic perfume makers introduced variety of products in the country for all and sundries”, an importer Javed A Khan said.
